1964 Fender Mustang - The Princess

The Fender Mustang was introduced in August 1964. The guitar is based on a vintage 1964 seasoned poplar slab body an new bridge and Dynamic Fender Vibrato with a reconditioned 1965 Mustang neck.  The fully reconditioned original Fender Mustang 1964 body is painted a "Custom Sparkle Color" sealed in nitrocellulose with black pearl pick guard, and dual black slider switches.

• 1964 Vintage seasoned poplar slab body (reconditioned).
• "Custom Sparkle Color" over reconditioned body
• The 1965 Vintage Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard painted "Pearl White" on the rear and the front of the headstock matching the "Custom Sparkle Color" of the body.
• Two stacked and split coiled pickups with white base plate
• Front of the small headstock is custom painted to match the body in "Custom Sparkle Color"
• One string guide
• Fender Kluson tuners chrome turners
• Custom Abalone dot inlays finger board makers.
• White pearl neck side markers on the seam of maple and rosewood
• Copper shielding plate in the pickup, slider switch, and control cavity
• Five way switch phasing the "stacked" pickups.
• 12 screw pick guard
• 3 screw control plate
• Dynamic Fender Vibrato
• White Tremolo Bar Tip
• Fender Corona neck plate
• One volume and one tone with custom inlaid knobs 
• 24" scale with 22-frets
